What Is An Archetype?

They reside in our unconscious and influence us sometimes without us even being aware. They affect our emotions, give life a sense of personal meaning, and help us better understand others.

In this series, An will introduce you to archetype families, and help you discover which archetypes within those families, influence you.

The Process she uses with her students is called SoulCollage®, developed by author Seena Frost.

We will be basing our exploration on the construct of archetype families developed by author Caroline Myss.

About This Series

The Archetype Journey Through SoulCollage® is a year long series of 12 classes which can be purchased individually or as a complete series of 12. This first class is free!

*Once a month, An will lead a live Zoom session with guided meditations, journaling, and card making exercises on specific archetype groups so students can gain the collective experience of taking the journey with An, and fellow students, as a group.

Please reference the calendar below for the dates for each live session.

*Sessions may not coincide with the timing of students enrollment in the online class. Additional group interaction is available through the Facebook group.

Individual classes will be $20 per class. The series will be $175 for all additional 11 classes (30% savings). Pre-enrollment will be available October 1, 2021.

The Feminine Group

Although archetypes are gender-neutral, some interesting characteristics of archetypes that may fall into the Feminine Group include:

They may be nurturing.

They may easily experience a lot of emotion.

They may put the needs of others before their own.

They may succumb to believing they are not powerful. They may be more dependent on others.

They may have powers of enhanced perception.

They may give more weight to physical attraction than mental acuity.

Names of archetypes that might fall into this category can include: The Lover, The Maiden, The Mother, Damsel, Queen, Mistress, Seductress.
